Kiele Sanchez Biography

Kiele Sanchez (born on October 13, 1977 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actress who stars as the second-eldest Sorelli sister, Anne, a therapist in her mid-twenties, in The WB's new comedic ensemble drama, Related.

Biography

Raised with her three siblings in the Chicago suburbs, Kiele Sanchez, who is half Puerto Rican and half French, discovered her interest in acting when Kiele was 13 years old. There was only one small problem - she had a terrible case of stage fright. Luckily, Sanchez eventually convinced herself to participate in a school production of The Grapes of Wrath, which Kiele Sanchez had to perform in front of all her friends and family. Kiele was cured and the experience made her realize that she truly loved being an actress.

Kiele left home for the first time in 2000 to audition for MTV's Wanna Be a VJ contest in New York. From the thousands of people who applied, Sanchez was selected as one of the five finalists, but, unfortunately, didn't win the competition. However, Kiele's disappointment was quickly forgotten when an agent who had seen her on MTV expressed interested in representing her.

After moving to Los Angeles on her agent's recommendation, Kiele Sanchez landed her very first audition. Kiele Sanchez went on to star in the drama series That Was Then (which only lasted two episodes) and the sitcom Married to the Kellys, starring opposite Breckin Meyer who played her husband.

Sanchez played a brief role in Stuck on You. She will join the cast of the hit ABC show Lost for the series' 3rd season.

Kiele Sanchez lives in Los Angeles where Related is filmed. She has a Teacup Maltese named Pooh Bear and in her free time enjoys practicing pilates and yoga.

Kiele Sanchez has been cast as Nikki on the third season of ABC's Lost. She is engaged to Zach Helm.
