Eva LaRue Biography

Eva LaRue (born on December 27, 1966 in Long Beach, California) is an American actress. She played Dr. Maria Santos Grey on All My Children from 1993 to 1997 and again from 2002 to 2005.

Biography

Once married to John O'Hurley, Eva LaRue was married to John Callahan, a fellow actor who played her husband "Edmund Grey" on All My Children; for many years, she went by the name Eva LaRue Callahan. She is a Puerto Rican, French, Dutch and Scottish ancestry. They have since divorced. The couple lived part-time in La Quinta, California and commuted to ABC's New York studios for taping.

LaRue received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of "Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series" for AMC. Eva also revieved a nomination in 2004 in the category of " Outstanding Original Song" for composing the song "Dance Again with You" which was used as her character's theme song during a storyline in which Edmund became paralyzed from the waist down.

Eva LaRue will have a role on CSI: Miami during Season Four.
