Born as "Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor", Cheryl Ladd was known as
"Cherie Moor" when she performed on the album based on Hanna-Barbera's
Josie and the Pussycats animated series.
Later Cheryl married David Ladd, by whom she had a daughter,
Jordan, and Cheryl took his surname as her own, which she kept
even after their divorce. Cheryl Ladd is currently married to
Brian Russell.
Cheryl Ladd's most famous role was on Charlie's Angels, when she
replaced Farrah
Fawcett starting in the second season of the series
(1977). Cheryl also starred in the 1994–1996 series One West
Waikiki.
In 2005, Cheryl Ladd released her first book, Token Chick. Among
other things, it addresses her love of golf.
Cheryl Ladd appeared on Broadway as Annie Oakley in the revival
of Irving Berlin's musical, Annie Get Your Gun after Susan Lucci
left the show and before Reba McEntire arrived to take on the
role.
