Andrea Anders Biography

Andrea Anders (born May 10, 1975 in Madison, Wisconsin) is an American actress, best known for her role as Alex Garrett on the sitcom Joey on NBC.

Biography

Andrea Anders graduated from DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993, and went on to get a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1997.

Later, in 2001, Andrea Anders earned a Master of the Fine Arts from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She tried out for several Broadway plays in New York City before moving to the Los Angeles area in 2003.

Before making it on Joey, Andrea Anders made appearances in the television shows Law & Order, Oz, and Tru Calling, and also in the remake of the movie The Stepford Wives.
